Agency Owner of Alabama Insurance Market
In 1995 I started as an EMT with CareLine Ambulance Service, in Jefferson County. Eventually I got into retail management, but EMS and public service was always in my blood. After the tornadoes of 2011, I went to work in Incident Command for the City of Tuscaloosa. Soon after that, I started volunteering with Englewood-Hulls VFD and completed FF I & FF II at the Alabama Fire College. When Alabama Insurance Market was opened, I took classes and received my insurance license, giving me an opportunity to use my knowledge to help fire departments across the state of Alabama.
As the owner of Alabama Insurance Market, I often refer to myself as "Chief Coffee Maker". While I'm making a joke, the truth is, I am very 'hands on'. I have over 25 years of experience in problem-solving. Your department has all the insurance challenges a medium-sized business would, unfortunately, you don't have the option of simply raising prices to cover increasing costs... that's where I can help. I work closely with my team, to make sure you're getting the best value possible, so you can be good stewards for the communities you are charged with protecting.

to create a risk narrative for the Underwriters.
R- 80 Days
Submit applications, loss runs, and narrative to both carriers, playing them against each other for better pricing.
R- 50 Days
Propose both options, in time to get board approval.
R- 10 Days
Request to bind the winning proposal, process payment.
R- 7 Days
Insurance Cards in your hands, make sure any additional interests have copies in hand.
Renewal Day
R+ 10 Days
Follow up call to make full advantage of our
FD 360 program, and schedule 1st half trainings.
R+ 30 Days
Follow up to make certain first half
trainings have been assigned and started.
R+ 120 Days
Follow up to get second half trainings
planned, assigned and started.
R+ 240 Days
Meet at Station, start the renewal process all over again.
